Lori Gaydosh PA-C
Lori is our lead physician assistant here at Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates. Lori received her physician assistant Bachelor’s degree from Gannon University in 1986. She has had multiple jobs as a PA – mainly in Orthopedics, but also in different specialties since that time. She started working for Three Rivers Orthopedics in 2005. Lori was born in Indiana County and currently lives in O’Hara Township with her husband, Deacon Abraham, and three huskies. Lori loves spending time working outdoors and with her huskies. She is also very active in her church and is involved with FOCUS Pittsburgh and other Mission Services.
Mary Purdy PA-C
Mary has been a physician assistant since 2002. She went to Duquesne University for her undergraduate degree obtaining a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in 2000 and then went on to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Duquesne University in 2001. She has been working at Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates since 2007 and she had two orthopedic positions at West Penn hospital and Magee Women’s Hospital prior to working for our group. Mary was born in New Kensington, PA and currently lives in Allegheny Township with her husband, Jim, and two children, Noah and Julia. In her free time, Mary likes to spend time outdoors with her children.
Bethany Wink PA-C
Bethany has been a physician assistant since 2012. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in 2011 from Duquesne University. She then went on to pursue her Masters at Duquesne University in Physician Assistant Studies and graduated in 2012. Bethany was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and currently still resides there with her husband, C.J., and two dogs, Doug and George. In her free time, she likes to play golf, kayak and spend time with her husband and dogs.
Michael Mentzer PA-C
Michael has been a physician assistant since 2009 and he joined our practice here at Three Rivers Orthopedics in 2013. Prior to working at Three Rivers Orthopedics he worked as a PA in orthopedics at two other practices. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2004 from Penn State University and then he went on to complete his degree of Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in 2009. Mike is a Pittsburgh native and currently resides in Cranberry Township with his wife, Michelle, and two children, Casey and Cameron. In his free time, Mike likes to work around his house and spend time with his wife and children.
Alexandra Findley PA-C
Alex has been a physician assistant at Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates since 2014. She graduated from West Liberty University in 2014 with her Masters in Physician Assistant studies and prior to that she received her undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Alex was born and raised in Upper St. Clair but currently lives in Mt. Lebanon with her husband, Jay, and two dogs, Scout and Nellie. She enjoys spending her free time renovating her home and going boating with her family and friends
William (B.J.) Vascik PA-C
B.J. has been a PA since 2011. He received his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in 2011 as well as a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2006. Prior to receiving his Master’s degree, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Penn State University in Kinesiology with an Athletic Training option in 2004. B.J. had many different jobs as an athletic trainer with multiple colleges and sports teams prior to becoming a physician assistant. He started as a PA in 2012 and worked with an orthopedic group in New Orleans, LA for 3 years prior to joining our group here at Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates in 2015. B.J. was born in Sarver, PA and currently lives in Avalon with his Wife, Michele, and dog, Beaux. He enjoys Pittsburgh sports and cheering on his Alma Mater Penn State University.
Justine Slavin CRNP
Justine is a nurse practitioner who started working at Three Rivers Orthopedics in 2016. She has been a nurse practitioner for 3 years. She started out working as an inpatient NP at St. Margaret hospital prior to joining our group. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she was a staff nurse in orthopedics and critical care. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in 2010 from Waynesburg University and then went on to get her Master’s degree in Nursing and her Nurse Practioner certificate from Carlow University in 2013. Justine is originally from Natrona Heights, PA and currently resides in Tarentum with her husband, Lance, and two children, Avery and Blake. Justine enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading, cooking and decorating her house.
